Berthie {in the days he was still a part of l'orchestre royal, and heavily referenced from this scan: www.angelicvoice.fr/galleries/… } and Lucille. At first, Berthie scared me half to death, but he won me over, to the point that I even made a special trip to buy two new shades of marker for his hair~ I should also note that I've coloured Lucille's hair darker than Yuki-san does, but I do believe it was described in the manga as golden at some point, so I hope no one will hate me for it~? *smiles sweetly* I even tried to draw a real background {which is based somewhat on bits and pieces of the architecture in Lucille's flashback dream about Cordie, Morion, and himself, though cracked and corrupted here}~

Also, I've been scouring Youtube in search of musicians with a sound similar to the way in which I imagine each of the characters of this manga would play, and the closest I can come up with for Berthie's piano is the heavy, almost frantic but still flowing way that Lola Astanova plays. It's beautiful, but in a way that puts me on edge rather than being relaxing, and I think her mannerisms really seem right for him:
